Week 14 - New Year, New Me!

Well, I did it again and allowed myself to fall off the wagon.  My eating habits have basically turned completely back around and I haven't been in the gym for over two weeks.  The new year is a great opportunity to get back on the wagon and make this year MY YEAR!
 
In less than 10 months I will be done with school!  This is something I have been looking forward to for over 9 years.  I owe it to myself to make sure I am in the best shape of my life for this important milestone.  So, how do I get there?
 
1. I am committing myself to writing this weekly blog.  I honestly feel by putting my struggle with weight-loss and healthy eating out there that it will motivate me to just do it!
 
2. I am committing to joining Weight Watchers and beginning to eat healthier and having more control over food.
 
3. I am committing to working out at least 3 days a week.  Whether it is boxing, Zumba, bike riding, elliptical, or just walking the dogs.  I need to get more active!
 
The lesson I have learned is to NEVER give up.  Of course things are difficult, but if I want to make a change in my life, I need to commit to doing something different to achieve the desired results!  Because OBVIOUSLY what I am doing is NOT working!!
 
  • Next weeks goals - Get back to the gym!!! Get back on track with food.
